Republican Torture-Pigs and Perverts

We beat the Nazis without torturing prisoners, but Bush/Cheney decided that a few raggedy Taliban in caves were more terrible than the enormous German Army, and they disgraced the United States with crimes against humanity that Eisenhower and Roosevelt and Patton and Abraham Lincoln and Washington and Grant and even William Tecumseh Sherman would have condemned as contemptible sub-human perversions.

Palin and McCain want to continue these perverted crimes against humanity.

Sarah Palin is just another Republican torture-pig and pervert.

John McCain is just another Republican torture-pig and pervert.

A vote for Palin/McCain is a vote to disgrace the United States and the all the generations of our brave soldiers who rejected torture as a perversion unworthy of even the lowest human garbage.

Palin AWOL on Stevens

Sarah Palin can't make up her mind whether to vote for 80+ indicted GOP Senator Ted Stevens or 44 year old Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich.  Ted Stevens' only positive attribute was his ability to earmark pork barrel projects for Alaska and Stevens' indictment makes clear his lies to Congress.  Looks like "fearless maverick" Palin is just another Republican without the courage of her supposed convictions.

BREAKING: Alaska Legislature Issuing Subpoenas in Troopergate

Andrew Halco, Alaskan blogger reports that the Alaska Legislature will issue subpoenas in Troopergate.

67, 87,102, 115...

I'm addressing this to Steve Rothman, because I live in his Congressional District, and to our US (New Jersey) Senators Bob Menendez and Frank Lautenberg.  Also to New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine, NJ State Senator Nic Sacco, and NJ Assemblypersons Vincent Prieto and Joan Quigley.  During the party conventions over the last two weeks, we have heard no end to people saying that they "support our troops" and "honor their sacrifice" and all sorts of other trite rhetoric that is falling short.  It's time to stop the talk and start some action.

Three questions on the lies by Palin

Three questions plus one: Did Palin outright lie about the Bridge to Nowhere (see Sommersby)?
Did she mislead the public in making them believe the governor's plane was sold in EBAY (kos)?
Did she lie about troopergate (abcnews)?
Did she lie about firing employees in AK?

In my years following the scene I have never seen someone uphold christian values to their chest so tighty and lie so brazenly and overtly.

Don't let Palin affect senate race

One of the really unfortunate effects thus far with the Palin VP candidacy has been  what is happening in the Alaska senate race pitting democrat, Mark Begich, against Alaska's senator Ted Stevens.

Stevens, 84, an Alaska Republican, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Washington. He had been under federal investigation for more than a year on public corruption charges.

Stevens is charged with seven counts of making false statements for failing to disclose gifts and home renovations from VECO Corp., an influential Alaska oil services company, on his annual Senate financial disclosure form. The total value of the unreported benefits exceeded $250,000, according to the indictment.

Moving Past McBush, Building a Better Future with Obama

My contribution: $

(Proudly cross-posted at C4O)

I remember not that long ago, President Bill Clinton vowed to work with us to build a bridge to the 21st Century. And build it, we did! During the Clinton years, we saw record economic growth that made everyone more prosperous. We had a world community that respected us and loved us. We had a nation we could be proud of, and America was on the right track.
